Q: Do you provide full-body waxing services on males and females?
A: Yes. However, I am only trained to provide waxing services on the female bikini and butt area.
Q: Does waxing make my hair grow back thicker?
A: No. Waxing does not make your hair grow back thicker, it makes it grow back thinner by destroying the folicle.
Q: What should I do pre-waxing?
A: You should exfoliate before any waxing services. Avoid any retinol/retin-A products.
Q: What shouldn't I do pre-waxing?
A: You shouldn't shave or trim the area for at least two weeks prior to waxing.
Q: Can I wax while pregnant?
A: Yes, you can wax while pregnant.
Q: What kind of wax do you use?
A: 79 Beauty Company provides both soft and hard waxing services.
Q: What are your COVID protocols?
A: Masks are always optional. We also thoroughly clean before and after every client.
Q: What is henna versus tint?
A: Henna is plant-based and lasts 1-2 weeks on the skin and 6-8 weeks on hair.
Tint is mixed with a peroxide activator and lasts 4-6 weeks on the hair. I personally recommend tint for clients with dry skin and henna for clients with a more oily complexion.
POLICIES
CANCELLATION POLICY - We require a 24 hour notice for cancellations and rescheduling. A notification is sent 48 and 25 hours prior to your appointment as courtesy reminder. Any cancellation or rescheduling changes made after the 24 hour period will result in a fee. You will be charged 50% of the service/services booked.
LATE POLICY- We ask that if you are running 1-5 mins behind that you give us a call. Giving us a call DOES NOT guarantee we will able to accommodate you that day. If you are late and it results in a cancellation you will be charged 50% of your service/services booked.
NO SHOW POLICY - No shows result in a 100% charge of the service/services booked.
